Jurong Island Learning Journey (07/04)

Jurong Island LJ i would say is quite a pleasant trip (:

though the industrial terminologies and the manymany other confusing turnovers were hard to catch, it was fun looking out the bus window at an environment so different, maybe say "so industrialised" HAHA. seriously quite fun (:

&&the ChemGallery was great. the scaled model of that Vopak tank, the fossil tunnel, the product displays, the interactive applets and so on were all just so interesting. it was really unlike those normal trips. dull and boring. oh & we especially like the periodic table, complete with almost all the real specimens. COOL! :D

so yeap in conclusion: really so much better than what we expected (:

Marché with Hapsburgers (07/04)

heyhey! ;D so after Jurong Island LJ, we planned to celebrate Elijah's birthday as well as Jieren's in advance (: we just thought of Vivo initially but somewhr along the way, someone suggested Marché, of which the pricey-ness put some of us off. if im not wrong it's Swiss. but after sometalk like "久久一次啦…", most of us gave in. but that mao and toh weren't rly in the mood i guess. &it was REALLY ex. but mao will not run away cos she owes the 单身贵族 club members a meal upon her withdrawal. RAWR! i'm gna tear holes out of her purse ((((: -grins evily-

so the moment we stepped into Marché and looked through the prices, it was a immediate jawdrop. haha. but guess we all sorted our thoughts out and enjoyed our meal there (: shared half a kampong chicken with chiouyih a rösti as well as a chocolate fudge cake (: under influence of the two ANTs. :DD yumyum! i don't mind going back thr if i ever have money, so i won't overspend :/

but ofcos with no doubt, we never forgot to utilise the perfect ambience we paid for! photoshoot session! :DDD

Zingdo with Loo&Woo&Yih (08/04)

okay. so after Marché with the hapsburgers the previous night, i was left with a half-filled wallet. &we still went for dinner at Zingdo. HAHA.

but anyway, my first meal thr, spent with sqdmates, worthwhile! (:

YAYE!

it would had been any other dinner if not for the manager. LOL

he came and took our order. &spoke a whole lot of Korean(reading out the dishes) and we kinda caught no balls y'see. so miss woo very tactlessly went "can you please speak slower?!"

LOL! yingting was laughing like a crazy ball from thn on and the infectious laughter made everyone, including the manager laugh. LOL! i tell you for awhile, we thought we needed paper bags over our heads. HAHAHAHHA! suuuuuper funny. :D

okayy.. so the dinner was quite fulfilling, complete with jokes, chitchats and all with sqdmates.

Lousy&Broke, yet sweet experience (11/04)

LOL okay! so after spending so much money on food, and having spent on taxi fare cos i was almost late for one of the days, i was totally broke by friday. yes. not even a single cent in my wallet. now i know how bad it feels. zzz!

so i planned on skipping recess. since i had no money, and didn't want to owe any more. so i stayed in class and did work. i think it was 阅读理解 zz ): but when the girls returned from recess, yih&sylvia acted all funny. first they told me to leave the class and go to whr they were. then they were like:

"sharman uhh",

"你……",

"怎么可以……",

"哪里可以", "不吃东西"-shoots up yan pau simultaneously!-

LOL! &thn i was like a "huh? what? what?!" i thought they had smth important to tell me OKAY! end up they smuggled up a yam pau for me. awwwww. super sweet! okay luh! love you lovelies :DD

&when we went back, toh still come and ask me wht they told me. LOL. even she thought it was some big thing. cos when they called me out their expression was quite serious. -.- what lovable sweet liars. HAHA! <33

so except for that sweet lil' pau, i went for NP on an empty stomach. felt quite bad but it's not the first time anw so yaye! life just went on. until after CCA. accompanied woo, min and yih to JEC to have dinner. yes i remember i do not have money at all. :/ so i told them i wasn't gna eat so can help them tend their bags while they bought food.

when they came back, they were with this cute tiny bowl beside their bowls of fish beehoon. then they started transfering chopstick-ful of beehoon, some slices of fish and spoonful of soup into the bowl. OMG...... super sweet encounter 2nd time in the day. awwwww...

&then we shared THIS:

oh yea. then we chatted for as long as till the Kopitiam was gna close. haha. they started pulling down the shutters &so we left. we talked bout damn a lot of stuff. LOL. from the teeny weeny bits bout NP all the way to RV and microscopically into some of our detestable classmates. we shan't brand it bitching or backstabbing since they know we don't like them, and in fact, majority don't like them :D

all in all, wonderfully SWEET day <333

A Day-ful of CIP (12/04)

later that week, we encountered a day-ful of CIP (:

it started off with a Flag Day to raise funds for the Disabled People's Association (DPA).

met up with lau nd peeps at the food centre. &then we thought long and hard and went through difficult internal dillemmas before we split up for CIP. i went with qinhui and chingxin, headed for lavender (: GOSH. i swear i hated the rain that day. my shoes we completely soaked okay! it had holes at the back&the bloody heavy rain had to make our flag day difficult. gees. so we had to stay around the area outside the MRT station with rain water dripping down from the holes in the roof. but i should say it was still quite an acceptable collection considering the rain and all (:

on the way back, we were thinking of ways to dispose the wet and leftover stickers we stuck on the cans. i took one and did this(: -

LOL. oqh's crumpler becomes DPAer! :D

&it looked really funny cos the logo at the back was too big &the crumpler guy's hair was like right on the sticker. so it looked like the green circle with strands of hair!

the best part was, he nvr realised. -.-

&of cos he had to see this one. it was at the front of his chest after all what. but it still gave me great satisfaction to know that he hasn't found out about the DPAer at the back :D

changed at the toilet in the station but ALAS. i still have those disgusting wet soggy shoes nd socks on. zzzzzzzzzzzz... good gracious.

but kids that they weren't too rowdy luh, acceptably behaved. (:

i took the pri3s. it was quite tiring to explain the choices one by one &all. now i know why our pri schl tcher used to have sorethroats so ever frequently. hehe. &i sidetracked to help clarine with the pri1s. they were super cute. always go "jiejieeee" one. hahaha (: the girl was jiaqi and the guy __wei. i always forget his name >.< gees.
okay. so yongen tht day was quite fulfilling too (:

after that we went for dinner. on the way...........

Laugh-Out-Loud!

&my dad actually didn't believe it was a pict. taken cos he refused to believe that Singaporeans' chinese was so horrible. but yingting told us even this shop's flyer were of 手鸡. hahahaha.

that leaves me speechless then :D

dinner was great!but without yingting. :/ we wanted claypot rice again like we used to. but the store we patronised was not open for business and the other one was a long wait away. so we settled for tze char. (:

even before we started our meal, &were just happily chatting away, this ridiculous uncle walked past our table laughing to his friend and placed this plate conveniently at our table. like WTH? &he just continued his conversation while walking off. what a joke. it was both funny and infuriating luh. stupid man RAWR!

who cares bout that stupid uncle anw. hahahaa. but of the 4dishes, there were two with prawns. & to help clear them, i took one and ate it happily. (: didn't cease despite sqdmates' attempt to stop HAHA!

i ended up paying for it by doings:

Pulau Semakau Learning Journey (17/04)

YES! Pulau Semakau LJ! (: okay it's better known as the rubbish island in hapsburg terms but anyway, it was a fun experience, more engaging than that of the Jurong Island!

first was a 40-min ferry ride to the island. sea sickness was what was intolerable but putting that aside, the ferry was quite comfortable complete with the company of hapsburgers (:

but sylvia's level of sickness seemed greater. -pats- hehe. i just kept stuffing myself with the sour plum strips (: tasted quite good! &it was rly reliefing.

landing on the island, i felt quite unstable and all but lala! it was semakau island. i don't intend to sulk this wonderful experience away (: &i commented that semakau smelt fresher than Singapore. HAHA! so, rubbish island isn't smelly at all! everybody who hasn't went must go okay! (:

as much as i had wanted to love the trip, the bus trip put me off real bad. it wasn't the scenery. frankly speaking, the view was great! Singapore's efforts in this island was commendable and all .but the bus ride was so rocky, it was worse than the ferry trip! >< gees.. but it got better after we had a little singing session at the shelter, photo taking and a walk around the area. (: semakau is great, really ((:

the presentation was interesting and the edwin guy was really engaging too. hahah! great presenter! &4H is rly putting in Semakau as one of our class chalet venues (: just you wait Semakau! we'll be back before you know it! :D

conclusion? GREAT DAY AGAIN! <33

SPF-NPCC (18/04)
SPF-NPCC Badge, the pinnacle award for cadets in NPCC in recognition of their good leadership quialities and outstanding performance, awarded to the most outstanding graduating NPCC cadets.

lol. kopped and paraphrased from the booklet my mum got cos just like a book, every post must have an introduction, doesn't it? haha.

ohwell, but i don't entirely agree with this statement because there are definitely loopholes in the selection process. afterall, nothing can every be flawless. shan't comment too much on that. (:

okay. so we arrived relatively early at Hwa Chong Institution for the rehearsal and all. was on an empty stomach except for that smoked chicken burger yingting passed to me (speaking of which, i haven't paid her!). okay so expectedly, my gastric acted up again. -.- but whtever. we weren't required to exert much of our strength or whtsoever. we just practised one round of the award receiving process, of which they called it our 5seconds of glory. LOL! and for the rest of the time, just sat listening to the officers' instructions or just wait. the nearest sqdmate was like 2rows away so i pretty much just stayed quiet throughout. ): there weren't girls arnd anyway so yea.. [:

the whole badge presentation went on pretty smoothly, xcept for me forgetting to shake the CP's hand and the super unglam montage pict. hehe! &&sqdmate's montage picts were all super funny, heartwarming and all. just.. GREAT (: other than that, there isn't much to comment on. it was quite encouraging when lau sent tht message saying they thought we looked cool and yueting said we looked 帅. LOL! &half the time we felt every female sqdmate was chio, every male sqdmate was shuai. haha, one word: stunning. love extremists manymany! :D
