19th-21st October.



ATCATCATC!
where do we go? Pulau Ubin! hahaha.

so as usual, the annual ATC camp was to be held at the NPCC campsite in Pulau Ubin.
i'm together with zimin, hanqian and wenjie in Group 6! :D
and i ended up in the same group as Salleh and Ian who were in the same group as me last ATC as well. considerably suay? haha.
&&i saw amanda too! (: she's in group7, radiant as ever!

Day 1
wasted a day like always. but the way up was super fun! (: we walked up to the campsite and up all the way, we were singing cheers! especially Pingpong Ball! :DDDD we sang the whole thing 26times! everytime we started a new verse, i'll feel that it's super hilarious and start laughing ridiculously! HAHA.

okay so when we reached, we waited and waited and waited. then after that we split into groups. )): SQUADMATES!! yea. so that's where we splitted up. after that we proceeded to pitching tents and all. =/ then we gather and had dinner as a squad!! :D that was probably the best period of the whole camp (: the chicken rice, though cold and hard, tasted great in the presence of squaddies. :D

ohman. after that we had like some kind of group get together. we had icebreakers, games and discussions. our group instructor was Sir Ivan/Ivan Sir. (: he's suuuuper duuuuper funny. hahah. very friendly, tolerant, nice, probably the most approachable CI. he actually can tolerate Salleh(very irritating, and i mean VERY).


the first day ended rather fast. we didn't have sentry duty this night either. so we went to bed. tentmates were Yan Ting, Ge Yi, Adna and Zimin. there was supposed to be Aisyah(think it's spelt this way) but she had back injuries so she didn't sleep in the tent.


i guess we probably are too accustomed to spending nights in the tent, so we all fell asleep pretty soon after a short chat. besides, the ma'ams were going around checking whether we were all asleep. it's the safer approach. (:



Day 2
okay. the action-packed day. :D
had morning PT and the best part? MORNING RUN! yaye!

sqdmates came together and did the rythm stomp all the way from camp Noordin to Bahru and back. suuuper cool! who cares whether those monkeys made fun of it along the way. they just don't know how to appreciate enthusiasm. (: we're proud of ourselves!


then we did 2sets of the dno wht BX PT and all. a couple of sqdmates got ants up their pants. zzz! evil ants. bite my sqdmates. bleagh. glad they were all fine.. so after morning PT we had breakfast, sat together with zimin, hanqian and wenjie. afterall, we weren't all that close after last night. but daddy came over! dno why. but yea. it was a good feeling. this sqdmates having breakfast together kind of feeling. :D we shared biscuits, pineapples and the guys kopped all of the Poccari Sweat. haha.. guess tht's wht sqdmates do aye (:


the rotational activities of the day was orienteering, HRF and rafting.
orienteering was nothing much. at least easy peasy as compared to wht we had at OBS. whew. no heavy bags. [: chatted with yanting and zimin on the way, and we always managed to chat with hanqian and wenjie as well. superb sqdmate relations. :D technically speaking, we completed 2 checkpoints. but if we were assigned the smoother route, we could have completed all 3checkpoints ba. [:


after assembling back at the campsite we had time for a short discussion about the performance for the campfire again. blablabla..
campfire's best part was the zi-highing and ofcos the performance.
zimin was rather awkward with the zi-highing. hahah! but hey, she was a wonderful groupmate/sqdmate to have. (:
the performance was super gao xiao. something that i never dreamt i could accomplish in any ATC group. lols. a very comedic scene yet suuuper enjoyable :D that was one of the most memorable time i shared with those groupmates. Sir Ivan was very happy with what we had put up apparently. HAHA! during debrief he just kept clapping nd clapping, with that very cute spastic expression of his. guess he was reallyreally pleased HEHHEH.

the next day was just breakfast, packing up, last briefings and going home.
nothing special but after all these, i realised. my sqdmates are probably my greatest love ever.

those who have been my closest friends through these 3 years, male or female.


RV would probably be meaningless without you guys.
school life would probably be much lonlier and more monotonous without you guys - less people to say hi to, less people to wave to, less people to hug, less people to talk to.
i probably won't be who i am today without you guys. probably stay an introvert, taciturn, inactive and less happy.

i know these would probably sound exaggerating and "whtever"plus roll eye balls to some ppl (just like when i said stuff like tht in Jawbreakers' blog in the past) but sqdmates - the people who really make me 掏心掏肺. outsiders will nver understand the bond we share.

so if you don't know a thing, then you please try not to give a damn and f off. i don't need you to comment whether these thoughts are genuine or not. cos i can tell you, you're just ignorant and freaking don't deserve to judge our feelings for each other.
