ROD! <3

ROD came to an end on 7th August 2007 successfully.

the parade was kinda comical. hahaha.. the first run was just supposed to be a rehearsal and we all didn't know -.- the second run was better for squadmate' coordination but apparently, gor screwed the commanding up =/ ohwell, it's still a job well done.. so don't blame it upon yourself. everyone screws something up at some point in time, right? :D

then for the concert! jiachen did a really good job at the piano. :D never knew and expected him to play the piano. let alone do so well at it! jiayou for your next piano grading kay! we're all behind you. ((:

& we loved the layout alot :DDD unique, fresh and new. yet another creation of mr leong guofeng. wahaha! and the food was wonderful! xD esp. the spaghetti! &the process of making the drinks together with squadmates was so hilarious! you should all have seen it. xDD though pressed for time but we still had fun out of it. [:

though the atmosphere was rather cold at some junctures, but hey! sqdmates zi highed and we brought it up abit xD it was such an interesting night. (: had busy times, nervous times, excited times and fun times. it was a night spent well. hahas! and ofcos, without each and everyone of my pretty squadmates, all these successes last night wouldn't have been made possible. squadmates, you guys rock! <33! ;DDD &from the night, we had quite a lot of realisation. especially when we were viewing the video by sir eric.

fast as it has been, we still can't believe that we're now ncos.
something that seemed far from reach,
something we yearned for in the past.
now that we've grown up,
we long to return to the past.
not that we're afraid of taking up this position;
not that we're not ready enough.
it's just that sometimes we realise,
a cadet life's enough.

now that we're ncos, the leadership roles we're taking will not be the same.
last time we used to be taught to exhibit the best, so that juniors see the best.
now we're taught to lead by example, nevertheless the same.
yet this time round it's gonna be different,
cause now we would be the ones,
to exhibit and TEACH to exhibit,
and it's not gonna be a simple task.

but i believe that we can do it! because we are The Extremists.
the people whom have undying spirits,
the people who never fail to pick themselves up from where they fell,
the people who could make the best out of minimal,
the people who went through all that thick and thin together,
the people who rendered selfless encouragement to one another,
the people who never hate more than necessary,
the people who learn and play together,
the people who grew up together!

what are we? The Extremists.
who are we gonna be? The Extremists.

no matter what comes between us,
no matter what happens along the path we take,
we're still gonna stay together as a squad, as a whole.
because what NP has taught us through these years,
are not all but skills and discipline.
but also attitude, teamwork and the importance of togetherness.
through NP, we forged this bond.
and we're definitely not going to break it where we achieved it.
nor are we going to break it cause of something beyond where we achieved it.

because The Extremists are going strong.
and we WILL BE strong,
and we will bring RVNP to greater heights! ;D
