i'm back from OBS :DDD


bet you missed me right. xD
like i was discussing with melvin, we all had the post OBS syndrome. =/
though it was tough, but it was enriching and inspirational. VERY.
i really feel like i grew up alot from OBS. great experience!
plus i didn't lose weight! :DDD SO COOL! ((:


of course i had loads of fun with my fellow AMUNDSENS! ((:
yeap. Amundsen's the name. MY WATCH NAME! <33
spencer, pearly, me, lihui, sylvia, jieren, melvin, yufan, olivia, yantong, huiyee, nadia, clarine, wangjue, mingshin, zeming and MOTHER(theresa)!



Day 1
the day we arrived at Pulau Ubin! xD was so super hot at Punggol jetty. &3H had to wait so super duper long for the boat! ): even classes that arrived later than us got to go off first la =/ &&there was this instructor we really hated who kept saying things that were meant to make us laugh but it was TOTALLY lame. -.- he just made the dragging wait even worse. zzz...


and then we took the boat! because i gave up the entire night of sleep to PI and history essay, i was so freaking tired i actually fell asleep in the boat! zzzz... &you won't ever believe i could sleep in such a cramped and warm environment. when we finally reached we went ahead and checked out our groups. i ended up in:-
AMUNDSEN! xD

but back then i was frantically going around asking for people who belonged to Amundsen as well. NONE of them were. until i saw sylvia and went over to ask. when i heard that she was in Amundsen too i was so happy, i jumped like a crazy pig who just escaped from the butcher's knife. i then found out that there were many other hapsburgers in there! i was sosososo happy! xD &the best part was, I HAD A SQUADMATE WITH ME! clarine! :DD (unfortunately the only one). yea. & the grouping was the greatest headstart for OBS. i was sososo looking forward.our instructor was theresa as i had mentioned earlier on. (:


We then took a couple of pictures! ((: i didn't scan them in but hey! it's everywhere! xD after which we had a brief icebreaker. &then we proceeded to getting what we needed for the full 5days from the store. the Amundsen store was unfortunately right beside the girl's toilet =/ it wasn't about the stink. frankly speaking, i don't remeber anything like that. it was more like the space constraint and constant crowd. zzz! while the other houses has an area beside their store to lay stuff out on, we only had the space in front of our store. cos we couldn't block the entrance of the washroom y'see. gees~

&&we had to bring the things we needed out from the store, fold them nicely and put them back, ready for use. then we went up some hill and were taught how to pitch the tents. like zzz! if only those were the NP-ish tents. those tents had ooober small pegs that were usually deformed. ZZ!

then next, we went to a side and mother taught us some knots. wakaka! quite boring. due to 0% sleep i had the night before, i fell asleep when she was teaching the figue-of-eight. hahahas. maybe cos we learnt it before so it becomes kinda boring. but then i missed the return knot part. zzz! but nvm.. felt quite bad after tht. so i attentively listened. after all of that we went over to do the TRUST FALLs. ;D

first it was some swaying backwards n your partner had to push you back into position. then became three in a group. so you had to fall backwards n forward, backwards n forward. the fun part was the last part. you had to go up some platform-ish thing and back-face your groupmates holding the mat, then just drop off onto the mat. OMG. think it was some psychological thing but it was very scary. =/ &evil clarine was saying i felt WEIGHTLESS. zzzz! bleagh.

then we tried out belaying! ;D

i ended up being the anchor and rope-master half the time. think the person up there will fly if i was the belayer. hahahas! cos at that point in time i was still semi-unconscious. xD ok.. it was fun though. ((:

then we had dinner! ;D back to the good ol' ATC days where we used messtins and did the cooking. had rice, hotdogs, baked beans and peanuts for dinner. though not top-notch cooking standards but ohwell. we just needed food enough to fill our stomach up. ((: then we washed the utensils, took a shower and gathered back &looked for mother!

at night we had some kinda amundsen chat. talked about what we liked, our greatest accomplishment and all that. &we did an amundsen tree! i swear it's the best tree nia! ;DDD we consumed 100% of the brown crayons &the texture of the tar road really made a very nice effect. (: &&then there was fire drill. zzzz~ gathered at some plot of land near the sea n listened to the instuctor talktalktalk. gosh. boring. after that we went back n kept the amundsen tree n went to bed. shared a tent with clarine & sylvia. ((: i was so tired i just laid down and fell asleep within 5mins! hehe..

Day 2
we woke up super early! ((: day 2 was a busy day cos we needed to prepare lots of things. reason being we were leaving the campsite for the next few days, coming back only on the 4th. so we had to sort the food out, our camp equipments out n everything.
unpitched the tents and went to have breakfast! after that we packed our own bags. most of them shared bags while a few carried their own stuff with some food supplies for the following days. i carried my stuff with a compulsory poncho and life jacket, and filled the rest off the backpack with bread. ;D so it was kinda light.

then we embarked on our trek to campsite 1. (the previous one was campsite 2) &it took us less than 30mins to reach the next. relatively near. this campsite looked much more civilised with the buildings, halls, medical centre and everything. ;D but we were supposed to pitch our tents at some weird plot of land outside it. yea. so we put our things together and covered them with the big "plastic sheet", took our water bottles and left.

we got to this area where all the equipment stores were and we took out all the helmets, harnesses and caribenas. &we procceeded to this tripod tower thingy. that's where the high element came! ;D tenzing was occupying the other side of it. (: remember seeing mummy, chiouyih, sinyee and kritie. teeheee~ but the boring part was, mother made everyone go through training of being belayed first before starting luh. like zzzz! wasted a lot of time can. i almost died and turned into a dried shrimp out there. and fell asleep for awhile too. hahahas.. yea say it! sharman's a lazy pig. but wht to do! i came to camp without sleeping. damn it. okok. so we did this super monotonous thing for hours and when we finally started doing the real thing, i was SOSOSO relieved! (:

YAYEYAYE! plenty of guys went on it first! &the first girl who went on it was sylvia! she was being such an adorable pig! xD the moment she went up thr she was making weird noises. hahahas! rlx darling! you have good belayers ensuring your security (: she passed the cable part rly smoothly, she completed the balancing log thingy and got to the last bit. the bridge thing. she was talking each step with such caution and was so afraid. omg. n she cried up thr leh. felt so xintong for darling! ): but then she dropped down halfway through. eeek! heng the belayers could control. [: was so afraid i'ld die thr too. hahas.

ok. then i don't really recall. was yantong the next or me? but whtever, when i got up i got confused by the two sets of cable. haha. but i figured it out and got over it safely. while waiting i was like... OMGed. though it was't very high up but it was still scary.. the balancing log thing looked pretty tough but wasn't so difficult afterall.. maybe cos it was just a suspended log across ba. but maintaining your centre of gravity helped alot (: &the belaying too. guess i would have dropped without the belayer. then the last part! gees. i was tremoring kay. all i remember are to deceiving spiritlifting colourful wooden pieces (=.=) and voices of melvin zeming jieren and spencer shouting "keep to the left side of the bridge" cos the bridge was sengeh to the right. so to balance it off i had to keep to the left. i also remember hearing amundsens shout jiayou! (: &&ms chia encouraging me. ;D oh! and that olivia chin! she was the one behind me n was so super fast can! zzz. i remember being very hesitant on one of the steps cos it was a piece which was diagonally cut and had only the right side! >.< so it was like.. diedie have to step on the right side. then the guys below were telling me to step as much to the left as possible. omg! whenever i stopped i would tremble like hell. still remember how tht melvin was constantly shouting talking bout some piece of cheese over the other end and told me to go over n get it. =/ when i finally reached the other end i was so relieved luh! finally over! then i went down the pillar and when i touched ground i was like.. totally 脚软! whew. the first person i saw was spencer la. nd i'm so freaking happy that i can finally be shorter than him! then melvin came over and was like "mouse! no cheese." hahahas.. nvm. as long as it was over. &that olivia chin who was behind me, practically zoomed past the whole bridge. super fast! &&she claimed it was so fun. LOL. crazy girl!

after that we had lunch! YAY! i was veryvery hungry! probably the first good meal we had at OBS cos it was in the cookhouse at that campsite you see. ((: ate a lot ;D
after lunch we were told to change into our long sleeved shirts(proved to be pretty pointless though), get our life jackets and whistle and assemble at the beach area. had a briefing and collected our paddles. &the best part of that was that i was a left-hander! cos of that, i got a pink paddle! ;DDDDDD happyhappyhappy! xD partnered with sylvia! && had a short practice. oh btw, i hated my trackpants! cos the bottom part's inner material was different and trapped water. zzz! ): ok. n we reluctantly practised the capsize drill. i cant swim luh. almost died. lols. not so serious. joking. &we went out into the sea to practise navigating. super fun! ;D &&we realised we actually did relatively well. (((: happyhappyhappy once again! but we swopped partners in the end cos mother wanted us to capsize out thr. but i didn't dare. i cant swim leh hello! ))): &jieren jumped into the water and made me do the same to get into melvin's kayak. OMGOMG! the horror of the day! super scary even with the life jacket. felt super insecure. took a great deal of effort to get up the kayak. =/ clarine couldn't swim too luh. she was so afraid to capsize too ):

kay. then our practise ended early and washing up time was literally cut short by 80%. so all we could do was 冲水 and get changed. remember frantically squeezing water out of my clothes and washing my shoes. eeeee~ &&we were so pressed for time yet were waiting for huiyee who went on with her shower. everyone felt so pissed can. in the end we rush here rush thr. damn. =/after dinner we had to rush and pitch our tents in the dark. couldnt see a thing without torches la. remember rushing in between tents to do pegging. &nadia was saying i was damn scary. hahahaha. she was thinking if i got angry the person's gna be so dead. hahas. but if we don't use strength we won't be able to crush the damn rocks below ma. so i was whacking like crazy. =/ &&those holding the torches also super xinku lor.. run here and there to provide light for ppl and had to help look for the peg bags and all. zzzz.. very xinku. we only managed to put up 3 tents though. but whtever la. we just slept. hahaha.again, i laid and fell asleep pretty soon. (:

Day 3
LAND EXPEDITION
probably the most tiring and tough trek i've been through. not because it was unbearbly tough. but because there was no motivation.

we woke up early in the morning, unpitched tents and had some kinda a briefing. then we had to mark out the checkpoints on the given map & ohwell. the 3J ppl were doing it since they took geog. =/ felt kinda bored then. &it was pouring heavily out there & we haven't had breakfast! so we like.. couldn't go back to get food nor pack up cos there was some irritating lightning risk alert and the rain was super heavy. bleagh.

the next thing we did was doing the first roadblock. it was some teambuilding game. with a few planks and bricks. you had to get your entire group up there and slowly move towards the finishing line with nobody touching the ground. im so proud of amundsen alright! cos we started moving first. ;D we did really well! was really tough. some of us got blindfolded along the way for touching the ground all all sorts. &it was really cramped. i don't even remember who i was holding on to at what time. sometimes my waist just felt like breaking! we had to counter the weight of the group moving towards the back and often would feel like we would lose balance. it was a good thing we had ourselves together (: i love amundsen! though we didn't complete first but at least we moved first and used the most team bonding way of moving up (((:

when we finally were prepared to go on e expedition olivia had a hurt bag. so clarine nd i exchanged backpacks with her. cos ours were definitely lighter you see. in the end she carried my bag n clarine carried olivia's bag n i carried clarine's bag. i don't know why it ended up so confusing. hahaha. but anyway, held on to four filled water bottles and it got really tough on the way. so i slung two onto the backpack. but i wanted to free my hands so i put the other two on it as well. i almost died i tell you. ): perhaps it wasn't with sqdmates or there wasn't much of encouragement. so it became really tough. in the end i just told yantong to help throw two of the bottles into the backpack. felt abit better. yantong was carrying a heavy backpack too. =/ that's what you get when you bring too much stuff along and it's double the quantity. ): but poor melvin. he was carrying one of the heaviest backpacks luh. all thanks to huiyee who brought so many things. zzz! &&jieren carried two backpacks. OMG. like super qiang can. =/

ok.. and along the way we had to do some roadblock thing. very interesting game (: something like looking for one tree amongst others, blindfolded. zzzz.. we did it on the second try. very proud of amundsens once again ;D &&the checkpoint serching was really tough. esp some areas. hais. like.. lost in the weird routes can. =/ &&there was once we took a supposedly correct route. but cos it was blocked by a fallen tree we had to move backwards and take another clear route. that moment i almost felt like giving up. ): tired and unmotivated. =/ yet had to undo what we've done and continue on.

it was a lonnnng gruelling way up to the campsite. everyone was exhausted. it was reallyreally tough. when we finally reached i was so freaking relieved. i didn't mind it being an open site. i didn't mind it being public n not belonging to OBS. i just wanted to rest. haha! it was difficult pitching tents there. stony place with sandy soil below those small stones. it was near the beach anyway. &yea. in the end we used big rocks and one of the jerry cans as pegs cos there weren't enough big rocks to go around. the jerry can was reused as a peg on another tent anyway. super inovative n cool! ;D hahaha! and y'know the place where we were supposed to tie clove hitches? hahah. we tied one to the other tent. so it was like... no pegs needed. HAHAHA! say we are clever. ;DDD amundsens are super smart! ((:

kay.it was probably the best night. we all 分工合作ed and finished the tents while the rest cooked. and we were feeding one another. ((: &melvin was so proud of his mushroom soup. hahaha. but uh... yea. i know it was just campbells' plus water. but it takes a great deal to gauge the amount of water to add kay.. super cool! i love our watch! tht was the day we really got more bonded kay! after dinner clarine n i decided to change in the tent. hahaha! we did. cos we know the way to the toilet was far. &it was useless since there wasn't water supply. zzz! so yea. n we ate some bread in there too. cos there wasn't enough food to go around. then zeming n mingshin were sitting outside the tent talking to us after that. haha. the jerry can was a good chair. ;D and talktalktalk. too bad. cos the guys couldn't enter the girls' tent. ((: haha. had fun for the night. after briefing for the next day's sea expedition it was bed time! we were so looking forward to it luh! ;DDD sounds super cool, super zai! we slept for awhile and woke up to do sentry duty. =/ they told us there were actually dogs at the previous shifts. heng we don't have luh. and we do le then went to bed again. poor melvin n jieren actually volunteered to stay up and help with every batch of amundsens. =/ ohman. they had better rest well.. =/

Day 4
SEA EXPEDITION
here goes! we embarked on an exciting journey the next day! ;D we packed our backpacks up, brought out all the food we could and distributed it to all amundsens. then sent the backpacks and jerry cans up the motor boats and gather for some briefing. they told the sea-ex leaders to go out and we're so super duper proud of 3H kay! like... almost ALL of them were hapsburgers. from amundsen we had jieren and melvin, from tenzing we had mingjie and sweecheng, from raleigh we had simon and jianlong! ;DDD it was only columbus that sent out two girls la. n yiling was one of them! (((: 3H rocks!

we did some warm ups and bla, picked up litter around the campsite and soon enough, we set off! ;D the last two kayaks to leave were the ones jieren&sylvia were in and the one melvin&i were in. cos we sweepers ma... yea. then we had to stay at the back n make sure that everybody's ahead of us but DANG! it never succeeded. there were always ppl who couldn't navigate well and lagged behind. then chiouyih and yanpeng's kayak started lagging. they like.. couldn't control the kayak very well la. &&it started raining. ZZZ! n they tried hard to get back to the right direction but lost it very quickly. so we were veryvery behind the main flock. ): we weren't actually blaming them luh. we were teaching yanpeng how to stick her paddle in but.. eh. it was always abit wrong lei. &&chiouyih also said that she got no 默契 with yanpeng.. =/ in the end the instructors see them like that they wanted us to switch partners. so i ended up at where chiouyih was and vice versa. i'm mean. LOL. i know im not so very strong myself la. especially when both yanpeng & my technique not so perfect. then the worst thing was that there was a storm. zzzzz! was so freaking frantic kay. i don't know why la. but no matter how hard i paddle uh, it always takes more then enough effort to turn. zzzz! there was once we were like.. going towards some fence le and i was so frantic bout changing course yet it took so long to! &there was this stupid flying fish that flew out of the water and over our kayak. that freaked me out la. & yanpeng didn't see it. LOL. and the rain kept going into my eyes. i was so freaked out out at sea with nobody near. still remeber hearing ms chia's voice in the noisy rain upon the sea water telling me that i did well & to jiayou. ms chia rocks can.. but i guess i no 默契 with yanpeng too.. then a flying fish jumped over us again a second time. this time yanpeng saw it too n we both freaked out. lols.. looking back it was abit hilarious. [: many times i just felt like giving up la. freaking tough eh. then storm somemore. GRRR! may hand like damn 酸 already can... keep paddling yet 事倍功半... zzzz! but something always makes me bring my paddle up immediately after i put it down. =/ &&then when we finally got together with the entire flock, we were so freaking relieved. like... gosh. PEOPLE. lols. it was super chilly. for a moment i thought i was gna like.. get hyperthermia or smth. we were stuck out there for super long can :[ &&then the instructors passed down ponchos and i actually bailed water out with my spare class tee. lol. it was so insecure with THAT amount of water in my kayak. ): &&apparently mr desmon lim now remembers me as the girl who bailed water out with a tee shirt. =/

okok. then the instructors told us to go to the shore up ahead. so we were kayaking there with all we could and we were so near to being ashore and then they shouted for us to move for the sand bank instead. LIKE FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE! why change decision suddenly. then we had to change direction and paddle towards the sand bank. we got up there, see-sawed and got water out of the kayak. then gathered and listened to the instructors and blablabla. we got food out of the bags on the speed boat and ateateate. had to eat like.. LOL. breakfast. then we were like looking for new partners for chiouyih and yanpeng. cos apparently melvin couldn't work well with darling chiouyih either. dont have 默契. yea. so in the end it was nadia and olivia. at first thr was a prob b/w oli&yih. cos they both could only do the front person thing. so in the end we told chiouyih how to do the navigations and she said ok lor.. try it out. yea. so in the end it was settled. when it finally 雨过天晴 we set off again.

it was really very relaxing nia. considering there was not more choppy water and all. &the kayaks could keep up better already. the two sweeper kayaks were like saying we could hear the noise made by them la. hahaha. you'll never know what it feels like man. totally a relieving commotion. then dunno who dropped an orange. then we still could like.. chase after the orange and play around with it. HAHAHA! :DDD
&after that we even purposely lag behind, then chiong super fast to the front. hahahaha! super fun! ((: we like.. still can 悠哉闲哉ly lay back and eat biscuit. hahahaha! remember passing that packet of biscuit to and fro. hahahahas! super funny. n melvin put a piece of it on his paddle and stretched it across to jieren's kayak. haha. but it was soggy&erxin so he nv take. hahahas! &&they were also talking about some litter in the waters. there was this styrofoam box and jieren was like "OMG! got菜饭盒 leh" LOL! then they were like "ei! 要加什么菜!" hahahaha. super cute. then sometimes got compete with jieren over who was faster. ;D okok. and then we saw this soccer ball floating around! ;D so melvin picked it up but realised it was deflated de. haha. then he held it with him and showed it to the rest. hahahahaha! super hilarious! xD
then we were still laughing at kunhong hahas.. also at lianbing who capsized. hahaha! heard that he was singing halfway then suddenly no sound, so they turned behind and realised he capsized. hahaha. ya i know im being sadistic here. xD and got a few times i stopped to peel orange and share. LOL. i needed the orange peel anw.. seasick alrd. &&then melvin was like saying the orange very nice. lol. i agree tho. xD

but dunno since when the 悠哉闲哉 hours were gone. the waves got bigger & more ppl lagged behind. then at first we were in the middle showing the ball to the rest. then after tht see the ppl lag behind so we went behind. [:

then we jiayou-ed the ppl at back. .then slowly jieren n sylvia disappear into the middle le. =/ then melvin & i continued sweeping the ppl. then chingxin n lihui lagged for awhile but they very quickly jiu got back in the right track&moved forward ;D but thn junbin that kayak dunno is got wht problem. lag until freaking unbelievable. then when the got back on track le thn we move on.. we were alrd lagging very far behind le then suddenly saw lianbing's solo kayak and chiouyih&olivia's kayak capsize beside the instructor's motorboat ahead.. they were rescuing the solo kayak thn the instructors told us to go over and rescue the other one.. it took a great deal of effort to change course immediately and took and even greater amount of effort to go around the boat to where they were. but the waves were too strong and it swept us away la. so we had to go around again. being very pekcek from the time we started lagging beyond civilisation, it became really bothersome. but the same thing happened again. so we went yet ANOTHER round and just as we were about to reach, some instructor said smth like "you guys are doing great, you can move on now". that moment we felt like going "WTF!". like... goddamnit. you told us to help. then after wasting our effort you told us to move on. !@#$%^&! we were super pissed and pekcek la. in the end all that we could see ahead of us was the sea! URGH! totally depressed. then the motorboat just like zoomed past us after tht. like WHTEVER! zzz!!!! totally no motivation. &&i was freaking seasick luh. thn still got the bigbig kind of waves that make you like.. *WOAH*.. zzzz! i wanted to die can. but if i let melvin paddle alone he's gna be super tired la.... so we paddlepaddlepaddle... paddlepaddlepaddle... then very long later we caught up with them and waited to go ashore.. by then our faces were black. zzz. totally pissed and sian diao. don't even wna talk to anybody.

after we got up they wanted us to help wash the paddles and kayaks... blablabla. super pissed still. then after tht they wanted us to form a human chain at the jetty thr. to pass the backpacks and tents to the back. then tell them to spread out don't wna spread. time and time again i went to the front to tell them to spread shout at them to spread, jonathan did the same.. melvin did to the back ppl too. blablabla. but their spead's like... stretch hand can tough each other one. POINTLESS. in the end there was this fcuking gap on the bridge between me n sinyee. so end up everytime ppl pass things to us we needed to travel to and fro that gap. & that gap wasn't a small gap. like TMD. spread will die isit. n then stupid justin shouted at the front to tell the ppl at the back to spread. &melvin was super pissed. so he was like "你看你们那边有spread meh?! 吵!!!" &&when tht asshole shouted something again melvin blew it and shouted "FUCK" across the platform. lol. i bet the distance was more than our classroom's length kay. open area somemore. he must have been damn loud to be heard clearly over there.

and after that was some lame debrief. maybe lame cos we weren't in the mood. and they made us do stupid things like massage the on on the left/right, take up water bottle and splash water on them, blablabla. and melvin didn't do any. &i reluctantly did a bit of it. && when the instructors told the sea-ex leaders to say smth we were like "oh-shit. mel's gna blow it". but then when it got to mel he said he had nth to say with tht pissed face. zzzz. like.. shit the instructors. =/ after that lihui and chingxin came and say sorry. i was like o.O! hahas. cos they thought they 害 us de. but lol. no luh. they're like so adorable can hahahas. [:

then clean up. i was washing the ponchos. super sandy. followed by that were the life jackets. sandy too... and after cleaning up we cleaned our shoes. haha. super sandy. n sylvia was saying she's got the ah1 ma4 jiao3. LOL everybody did. in the end we just quickly washed up. then sylvia like.. couldn't find her backpack. so we were like looking all over for it. in the end yufan actually found it downstairs... & then gor said he lost his backpack too.. and so i went down. but don't have. so i told him lor. but he found it in the end in their own stack of bags la. lol. cos on top of their belongings somebody put other stuff in. so they didn't recognise it. like zzzz~ ok..and after tht we pitched our tents while the rest washed up.. then sylvia&i were making orange juice upstairs! :DDD we were like.. haha. squating outside the store making orange juice. looked super riduculous. xD but it was super nice okay! we brought it down to the people and they drank as they were pitching the tents. ;D all of them said it was nice except for olivia. cos she said it was too concentrated. LOL! kay. thn after tht while the guys went to shower we cooked. ((: had curry chicken, sardines, baked beans, maggie with mushrooms and all sorts.. haha. & we were waiting for melvin to come down to make his mushroom soup lor xD his mood got better aft tht luh. &&blablabla...
&&we were sunburnt even though we had sunblock on luh. zzz! feel chaota now. =/ &&i was applying insect repellent but i had rashes all over. apparently some part of the rashes 脱皮ed and i spayed insect repellent on it. so i was raising my hand and spreading it when it got so painful i screamed! &olivia, yantong and sylvia actually thought i saw smth and got freaked out, so they freaked out too. LOL! hahahs. but it was really painful luh. ok whtever. hahas. when we were all done we had some debrief and melvin was told to go see some instructor. then he told me to accompany him. cos like i was a witness. hahas. then talktalktalk.. recount everything to him &whtever. ok. then we said our piece, he said his, and we went back to our store and packed up our personal belongings. then it was time to sleep, FINALLY. hahahas.

Day 5
last day! OMGOMGOMG! 爽感! ;DD
made orange juice with darling sylvia again! xD this time we had a diluted bottle of it specially for ms olivia chin. :DDDDDD
ok. so after breakfast we unpitched the tents, washed the sheets, the rods, the pegs, the water bottles the everythings, put them back in the store and gathered for debrief. completed our amundsen tree with lots of funny leaves from the guys bout advertisements. hahaha! ;D had a great time. we also said some stuff about one another and did some really stupid stuff like writing our weaknesses and tearing them apart aft tht. hahaha. then we did some souvenir shopping and gathered behind the canteen area for some sharing and said all that we've felt and learnt from the camp. mother made us hold onto a piece of twine as we went around speaking and the twine ended up in a big messy grid. and she cut the twines one by one as she spoke. like. zzz. for tht moment i felt like she was cutting up the amundsen bond. ): eeeeeeeeew~ but ohwell. i'm keeping mine. (:

So from here, OBS finally ended.
with new skills,
new friends,
new knowledge.
knowledge of ourselves.

then i went out with the 3H bunch of amundsens together with clarine, sinyee and mingjie to je KFC. & we crapped a whole lot over there. hahahaha. had a really good time. (:

OBS taught me alot of things; lessons, skills and values.
indeed, these are invaluable stuff imparted to us by OBS, and they are so unforgettable you'll never lose them. SERIOUS!

like i said during the last sharing session. the one lesson i've learnt from the course was that encouragement is reallyreally important. no matter how capable one might be, there'll always be a time when he gets tired. it's it then that the encouagements come in and provide mental strength to motivate you to go on. i've experienced it especially during the expeditions. it is a feeling so comforting. and i like it. (:

i've brought back many treasured memories of people and experiences from OBS. i believe everyone did. :D though you people didn't agree with me tht OBS was rather fun when i mentioned it tht night, i'm certain you miss it now. (right wangjue!) xD
